Tom Baby

Tom Baby is a recent graduate of Carleton University with a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science and International Relations. He was born and raised in Timmins. Tom spent his final semester abroad in the United Kingdom studying, traveling, and immersing himself in European culture. Upon his return, Tom decided to follow his passion of serving others and began his career in the non-profit sector. He has a keen interest for all facets of international affairs and enjoys staying active in his free time.

Chantal Boudreau

Chantal was born in Edmonton, Alberta, but moved and was raised in Timmins where her family resides. Chantal graduated with honours within the Social Service Worker Program at Northern College, as well as the Police Foundations Program with Canadore College. Chantal is passionate about helping others and ensuring that people are referred to the appropriate services to meet their needs. Chantal has referred many people over the years, thus this position with the Multicultural Centre is a perfect fit. In her spare time, Chantal is busy with her son and daughter and their activities

Sylvie Lamothe
Project Coordinator

Born and raised in Timmins, Sylvie has recently returned to her home community where she joins our team as Project Coordinator for the implementation of the Northeastern Ontario Immigration Portal. While her adventurous spirit has brought her to live and work in Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and the Caribbean, her family and love of the outdoors has brought her home. While traveling the globe, Sylvie has gained experience in coordinating various projects focusing on fundraising, communications, events and volunteer resource management.

Brittany Pentland
Outreach & Events Intern

Originally from Southern Ontario, Brittany recently moved to Timmins after graduating from The University of Western Ontario, acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences. While in London she was an active member of her community through volunteering with a variety of organizations / institutions such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Parkwood Hospital. She is looking forward to continuing her involvement in her community by joining our team as the Outreach and Events Intern.
